An Evening with Jon Nakamatsu
You and up to 24 of your guests will enjoy a private soiree with world-famous pianist Jon Nakamatsu. Known as a true aristocrat of the keyboard, whose playing combines elegance, clarity and electrifying power, Jon will perform at the lovely Atherton home of long-time Peninsula Symphony supporter Mary Gundelach on her grand piano in an intimate and special setting. Hors d’oeuvres, drinks and conversation contribute to a “not to be missed,” once in a lifetime experience. Winner of the Van Cliburn Competition, Jon is well known to Peninsula Symphony audiences for his virtuosic and soaring talents. Program, date and time are to be arranged with Jon Nakamatsu, Mary Gundelach, and the very lucky winner.

San Francisco Symphony Performance with the Maestro – Dinner and Hotel Stay
Ever wonder what goes through a conductor’s mind when they go to the symphony? Here’s your chance to find out, with our own Maestro Mitchell Sardou Klein! The winner of this package will start the evening of April 21st with dinner at the Hayes Street Grill, a sustainably harvested fresh fish restaurant, accompanied by Maestro Klein and his wife. Then, join them for a San Francisco Symphony performance featuring Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2. Learn not only about the pieces performed that night but get the inside scoop on a maestro’s perspective. Finish off the experience at the beautiful Donatello Hotel in Union Square, with a two night stay.
Symphony Performance Dedication
Take advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime experience to have an orchestral performance dedicated in honor or in memory of a dear friend or loved one. At a mutually decided PSO performance, a dedication will be recited from the stage just before the live symphonic performance. This is a unique and golden opportunity to tie beautiful, transcendent classical music to someone special in a live and meaningful way. Good until May 2018. Sunset Wine Dinner
Overlooking Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay is a winery that produces some of the most notable and celebrated wines in California. You and your guests are invited to enjoy appetizers and a wine tasting on the 360 rolling acres of the Thomas Fogerty Winery in Woodside. Your first course will be followed by dinner under the stars next door at a private home overlooking miles of panoramic open space, city lights, and the bay. A special menu will be prepared and served by the Peninsula Symphony Board. A breathtaking and most memorable evening. Date dependent upon donor/host availability.
Sailing on the Bay
Enjoy a sailing adventure in San Francisco Bay. Take in the views of the Bay Bridge, Alcatraz and the SF Waterfront up close on board the Catalina 310 sailing yacht “Time & Tide” (LOA 31ft). Your hosts will be certified skippers Nikos Troullinos and Tom Green. We can accommodate up to 6 adult guests. We will try to make the sail as exciting or easy going as you desire. You can participate in sailing the boat or just enjoy the ride. The cruise includes drinks and en-route or picnic lunch. Wind permitting, we can dock at Angel Island or approach the Golden Gate bridge or stay close to port and just drop anchor by the SF Giants stadium to take in the city views. The winning bid wins you this 4+ hour sail on a mutually agreeable weekday or weekend date within one year. Parking for 2 vehicles at the South Beach Harbor, just steps from the yacht, will be provided.
Stay in Private Capitola Residence
Spectacular, relatively new 2,700 sq. ft. home several blocks from the ocean and village. Downstairs bedroom with king size bed, fireplace, and private bathroom; upstairs bedroom with two queen size beds, baby crib, and private bathroom; and second upstairs bedroom has two extra-long twins size beds and private bathroom. In addition, guest bath, pantry, study, full kitchen, outdoor BBQ, mudroom with full washer and dryer, outside shower, and many other amenities.

Carmel Cottage Weekend and Dining
Enjoy a wonderful escape to the gorgeous Monterey Peninsula. Main cottage and separate guest house provides 2 queen beds and one queen EZ inflatable bed, 2 full baths, a kitchen, and a gas fireplace in main cottage. Private back courtyard offers a wood smoking fire pit for chilly evenings. This historic cottage sits only 2 blocks from luxury shopping, fine dining, and wine tasting on Ocean Avenue, walking distance to the pristine and beautiful Carmel beaches and coastline, and only a short drive to Pebble Beach and 17-mile drive.
