Don't miss a special concert this Saturday, July 9 at 7PM when the Peninsula Symphony and pianist Spencer Cha, 2022 Marilyn Mindell Competition winner, perform Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No.3 in D minor, Op.30.

Studying under Jon Nakamatsu, winner of the10th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, Spencer has garnered critical acclaim and honors in his young career. In addition to his first prize win at the Mindell Competition, he is also a two-time National YoungArts Award winner and the 2022 Pacific Musical Society Composition Competition winner.

Conducted by Assistant Conductor Hoh Chen, this program will include selected solo pieces by Beethoven and Chopin as well as some of Spencer's own award winning compositions. Admission is FREE, and no ticket reservation is necessary.

Audience will be required to wear face masks at all times (No cloth mask).

This concert is presented as a special collaboration between Spencer Cha and the Peninsula Symphony.
