Join us for an exhilarating late afternoon of music on June 7 as we kick off the summer with a concert packed with energy, drama, and cinematic flair. The program features Bernstein’s whirlwind Overture to Candide, Shostakovich’s triumphant Festive Overture, and selections from Broadway and film favorites like Wicked and How to Train Your Dragon. You’ll also hear the soaring melodies of Spirited Away by Joe Hisaishi, and a dazzling solo feature on La Virgen de la Macarena with Mike Marmorou, principal trumpet. From bold fanfares to heartfelt themes, this concert promises something for everyone under the summer sky. Admission if FREE.
